Christmas Markets 2022
This holiday season, I had the joy of attending three incredible Christmas markets, each offering a unique atmosphere and a chance to connect with wonderful people. Here's a look at my festive journey:
Wiper and True’s Christmas Market at St Luke’s Taproom
Wiper and True’s Christmas Market at their St Luke’s Taproom was a cozy and creative experience. The market was filled with talented local artists, crafters, and creators, all gathered in the warm and welcoming space of the brewery. I had participated the year before and was excited to be back, reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new artists. The atmosphere was buzzing with holiday spirit, great conversations, and the sound of festive tunes, making it a truly enjoyable day.
The Tobacco Factory Christmas Market
The Tobacco Factory Christmas Market is always a highlight of the season for me, and this year was particularly special as I debuted my handcrafted baubles. The vibrant market, known for its lively atmosphere and diverse mix of stalls, was the perfect place to showcase my new creations. I loved seeing the positive reactions and watching my baubles find new homes. With live music, festive cheer, and a bustling crowd, this market always captures the true essence of the holiday season.
Attending these markets was more than just about selling my art; it was about sharing my passion, connecting with the community, and soaking in the festive spirit. Each market offered something unique, and I’m grateful for the support and wonderful memories. I can’t wait to see what next year brings!
University of the West of England Christmas Market
Returning to the University of the West of England, where I completed my master’s, felt like coming home. Setting up my stall on campus brought back so many great memories, and it was a lovely experience to share my artwork with students, staff, and visitors. The market was filled with a great mix of handmade crafts, art, and festive treats.
